Job Objective:
To plan, implement, evaluate and update Ma’an’s overall strategy, sector strategies, business plans, operational plans and managing change for special projects as well as resources/skills management across all sectors
Functional Role:
o Develop, review and update the institutional plan for the authority and ensure its alignment with the direction of the Department of Community Development (DCD)o Develop measurable and realistic Key Performance Indicators to monitor performance in accordance with the established institutional plan in collaboration with performance management and projects section, sectors and officeso Conduct analysis of scenarios for best international practices to develop the future vision of the authorityo Establish standards and frameworks for the formulation of the corporate strategyo Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize projects and initiativeso Develop the operational plans for all sectors and offices in collaboration with respective sectors and officeso Follow up on the necessary approvals regarding strategic and operational plans from DCDo Develop priority criteria and lead the authority’s initiatives according to prioritieso Conduct studies and implementing special projects related to the authorityo Develop and expand partnership models and targeted partnerships based on alignment of DCD’s aspirationso Work to enhance awareness of the strategic plan and risk managemento Prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of developing and achieving the authority’s institutional plan, and identifying aspects of the existing challengeso Research and adopt the best practices and the most appropriate global trends in the field of institutional planning to continuously develop and improve plans, policies, processes, procedures and institutional models for the authorityo Perform other tasks as requested by the Director
Job Objective:
To plan, implement, evaluate, promote and update activities related to public relations and communications including social media publications, Ma’an’s website and monitor public opinion to communications.
Functional Role:
o Prepare and implement communications including social media strategy, plans, guidelines, policies and procedures in coordination with other outreach management office
o Prioritize Ma’an communications activities and requests into strategic versus business as usual and allocate resources accordingly
o Manage external partners concerned with communications and media activities such as advertising agencies, digital marketing institutions, production companies, and coordinate with the concerned units to disseminate the required information when needed
o Conceptualize and manage the organization of Ma’an’s internal and external events, symposia, conferences and ceremonies including vendor management, invitations and protocol in line with Ma’an’s outreach management strategy
o Ensure timely preparation of content and social media publications such as press releases, letters, flyers, newsletters, visual productions and brochures
o Create and update the content of the Authority's digital media platforms, Ma’an’s website and related websites on a regular basis
o Analyze public opinion and stakeholder satisfaction results in collaboration with internal stakeholders and use various monitoring tools including surveys, social media reports and set plans to protect and uplift Ma’an’s brand
o Implement the media calendar for local and international press releases, TV and radio
o Establish and evaluate effective communication channels with third parties
o Perform other tasks as requested by the Director
Job Objective:
To plan, implement, evaluate, promote and update activities related to the addressing priority social challenges through innovative outcome based contracts as mandated by the authority
Functional Role:
o Create Expression of Interest (EOI) and full proposal tenders with selection criteria, according to the defined contract structureo Work with partnerships section to reach out to potential bidderso Manage EOI processes, send EOI forms to all interested parties, follow-up on submissions progress and shortlist bidderso Manage full tender processes in coordination with procurement sectiono Provide development support to successful EOIs and ensure effective process for answering applicants’ querieso Review received applications and select winning prospects to piloto Support project launch and implementation within chosen timeframeo Coordinate with external independent evaluators to monitor and track project outcomeso Work with social investment fund sector to disburse outcome payments according to set metricso Establish reporting mechanisms to the community as well as involved stakeholderso Perform other tasks as requested by the Director
