Job Description
Job Objective:
To assist in planning, implementing, and promoting volunteering across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Functional Role:
Develop, design and implement activities supporting volunteers that serve the community of Abu Dhabi according to the social priorities and in alignment with the Abu Dhabi social aspirations
Develop volunteering goals, policies, targets, and objectives in coordation with key stakeholders
Provides support and guidance to stakeholders and partners in the region for managing volunteers
Evaluate volunteer experience and write assessment reports
Collect volunteer information, availability, and skills, and maintaining an up-to-date database
Keep new and existing volunteers informed about the organization and volunteer opportunities
Develop the volunteer sourcing criteria and techniques
Prepare volunteering schedules for volunteering opportunities Match volunteers to opportunities that suit their skill sets, and ensuring they understand their responsibilities and receive the proper training
Develop the volunteer lifecycle plan for specialized volunteers
Develop, design, and implement volunteer incentive programs and initiatives
Develop and implement a volunteer retention plan
Prepare and ensure implementation to codes of conduct and operating procedures to uphold the Ma’an's values
Prepare or as relevant adopt training strategy, designs and conduct activities to specific area
Perform other tasks as requested by the Manager.
Skills
University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree.
Experience of at least 3 years in a relevant field, preferably in the social sector
