Job Description
Job Objective: To assist in planning, implementing and preparing reports on activities related to Ma’an’s overall, sector strategies, business plans and managing change for special projects
Functional Role:
- Assist in preparing and implementing the institutional plan for the authority and ensure its alignment with the direction of the Department of Community Development (DCD)
- Conduct studies related to Ma’an’s key pillars and best international practices to generate insights into future trends to develop the future vision of the authority
- Coordinate with DCD to identify key social challenges and key priorities for Ma’an’s annual plan
- Establish standards and frameworks for the formulation of the corporate strategy
- Engage internal stakeholders and develop Ma’an’s strategy in line with leadership aspirations and identified internal and external challenges and gaps
- Facilitate development of programs, projects and initiatives, set achievable targets and develop key performance indicators (KPI) in collaboration with performance management and projects section
- Assist in planning and implementation of special projects as requested
- Manage projects and initiatives prioritization with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop the operational plans for all sectors and offices in collaboration with respective sectors and offices and follow up on the necessary approvals regarding strategic and operational plans from DCD
- Prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of developing and achieving the authority’s institutional plan, and identifying aspects of the existing challenges
- Research and adopt the best practices to continuously improve plans, policies, processes, procedures and institutional models for the authority
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Manager
Skills
University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree
Experience of at least 6 years in a relevant field, preferably in the social sector
