Job Description
Job Objective:
To assist in planning, implementing and preparing reports on activities related to management of resource flows and allocation of the agreed resources for disbursement in Abu Dhabi to effectively implement strategies that are targeted to create social cohesion as well as have a measurable impact on the community.
Functional Role:
o Assist in developing strategy and procedures for the social investment fund, the size of the financial resources, the funding sources to be targeted...etc.
o Coordinate for managing resource flows from government agencies, the private sector, and individuals
o Collect the required information for allocating the agreed resources for disbursement to the relevant committees
o Maintain records of disbursement cases and issue periodic reports to internal stakeholders as needed
o Submit periodic reports for presenting to the executive management on the fund's social impact information, track record of the fund's performance
o Ensure compliance with all legal obligations related to payments as well as protect data related to partners and employees in coordination with the legal affairs office
o Cooperate with the internal audit office and the finance section in the corporate services division to carry out a periodic external audit of the financial statements
o Consult and coordinate on the optimal mechanisms for disbursing resources for identified social investment opportunities
o Raise recommendations for the financial payments related to the investment in social projects
o Perform other tasks as requested by the Manager
Skills
University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree
Experience of at least 3 years in a relevant field, preferably in the social sector
