Job Description
Job Objective:
To plan, implement, evaluate, promote and update activities related to public relations and communications including social media publications, Ma’an’s website and monitor public opinion to communications.
Functional Role:
o Prepare and implement communications including social media strategy, plans, guidelines, policies and procedures in coordination with other outreach management office
o Prioritize Ma’an communications activities and requests into strategic versus business as usual and allocate resources accordingly
o Manage external partners concerned with communications and media activities such as advertising agencies, digital marketing institutions, production companies, and coordinate with the concerned units to disseminate the required information when needed
o Conceptualize and manage the organization of Ma’an’s internal and external events, symposia, conferences and ceremonies including vendor management, invitations and protocol in line with Ma’an’s outreach management strategy
o Ensure timely preparation of content and social media publications such as press releases, letters, flyers, newsletters, visual productions and brochures
o Create and update the content of the Authority's digital media platforms, Ma’an’s website and related websites on a regular basis
o Analyze public opinion and stakeholder satisfaction results in collaboration with internal stakeholders and use various monitoring tools including surveys, social media reports and set plans to protect and uplift Ma’an’s brand
o Implement the media calendar for local and international press releases, TV and radio
o Establish and evaluate effective communication channels with third parties
o Perform other tasks as requested by the Director
Skills
University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent, preferably holds a Master’s degree
Experience of at least 6 years in a relevant field, preferably in the social sector
